Camera in hand, family by my side. This trip will always be a memorable one.
Mexico, 2011. No regrets.
It’s only been a little over a month since the start of a new year, and there has already been so much that has happened.
They say you don’t realize all the good in your life until something bad happens. I really know that now. You change to cut out all the bullshit and all the unnecessary drama.
I spent the last month scared, and I still am. It gets easier with the days, but I can’t help but worry. I’m going crazy in my own head because I can’t talk about it. And I’ve come to realize how dangerous my mind can be.
When I’m good, I’m good; normal even. But when I’m not, I’m immobilized. My mind gets trapped in these thoughts and I can’t do anything. I can’t focus, I can’t work, I can’t even sleep.
So be appreciative and love what you have and those around you. Any day, something can come knock your life off course. We never see it coming, and things change so fast.
